Handover of Heesen 155-55

In December 2011, the Heesen 155-55 was handed over to its owner after approximately 15 months of construction work. The ZUCKER & PARTNER team supported the work on this 55 metre displacement yacht, and visited the site at Oss in Holland twice a month to conduct quality and conformity controls. Shortly before the handover, the yacht underwent a number of sea trials and function testing, and subsequently a final inspection by the experts from Hamburg.

Alongside the ZUCKER & PARTNER specialists at the shipyard, the owner’s team consisted of an experienced representative who was on site full time, joined later – about six months before the handover – by the owner’s crew.

ZUCKER & PARTNER’s team of experts now numbers 11 and is active all over the world, and in its present format has already conducted the handover of ten 37 to 55 metre vessels from the famous Dutch shipyard to wholly satisfied owners.

On this occasion, too, the Lloyd’s X 100A1 SSC YACHT G6 X LMC UMS was successfully handed over on time, just before Christmas, to its owner. The steel and aluminium 10 metre wide displacement yacht has a range of up to 6,000 nm and a top speed of 15 knots.
