Hakvoort 45m MILELE
Project start: 2018
ZUCKER & PARTNER took over project management and owner’s representation at the end of 2019 (Sven Stark / Stefan Zucker).
It was not only the late entry into the project that made the aluminium fast-displacement yacht Milele a challenge. Equally demanding were the high expectations the owner placed on the yacht’s construction.
A top speed of at least 25 knots with a partially electric hybrid propulsion system -enabling nearly silent cruising - was required. Dynamic positioning replaces anchoring maneuvers. On board: extensive diving equipment and a fully certified submarine capable of diving to depths of up to 100 meters. In addition, a beach club, a jacuzzi, e-jet skis, and much more. A particular highlight: when the bow hatch is opened, an open-air cinema is revealed if desired. From a technical perspective, efficiency and seakeeping were optimized by an additional underwater wing made of carbon.
Conclusion: A 39-meter explorer yacht with an elegant appearance and global cruising capability, including cold regions. The 39 meters ultimately became 45 meters, while compliance with the 499 GT limit was successfully maintained.
